Trail Stop to celebrate spring equinox with a pop-up on Saturday, March 20th.

March 9, 2021

Spring Fever? Missing the beach? Dig the Dunes Trail Stop (located at Portage Lakefront & Riverwalk) has the cure! Head on over to the waterfront destination on Saturday, March 20th to celebrate the spring equinox with a little outdoor (and indoor) fun, food & drink, acoustic live music with Johnny V and a sparkling wine toast at sunset (while supplies last and for those over age 21).

Trail Stop will open the concession and indoor dining area at 3pm and stay open until 7:30pm, giving everyone time to enjoy the later sunset, which will take place at 7:01pm! Johnny V will play from 4-7pm.

This event is family friendly and free to all. As always, you are invited to come out for the day, walk the trails, enjoy the beach and then come back and relax with some soup, a bowl of chili, hot dogs, hot chocolate, momma sue’s award winning mac & cheese and lots more!

New merchandise will be available, including Trail Stop shirts and tanks with Indiana Dunes National Park printed on the back.

More information and updates can be found in the Facebook event, right here.

Please note: Masks must we worn inside. Please keep all tables and chairs in their proper spots to avoid over crowding. You are welcome to enjoy your food & drinks indoors or on both outdoor patios. Indoor seating will be first come first serve, but please do not hold an indoor table for the entire day.
