It’s summertime and there are lots of fun refreshing drinks out there for you to sip during sunset. We thought we’d feature a few of our favorites and let you know where you can find them!


What is it? several types of rum, velvet falernum liqueur, lime juice, grapefruit juice, cinnamon syrup, grenadine, hopped grapefruit 15

Pineapple Mojito

What is it? rum, fresh pineapple juice, club soda and mint
Where is it? Fire & Water, Michigan City

You can find this drink up at the rooftop bar at Fire and Water. Watch the sun set over Lake Michigan as you sip on this refreshing cocktail.

Blood Orange Sangria

What is it? Orange and lime wedge muddled. Chardonnay, bacardi lemon, elderflower and a blood orange puree.
Where is it? Cappo’s, Portage

Cappo’s is a great spot to hang at the bar or sit in the dining room and enjoy some casual Italian fare with a mojito. Simply delicious!

The Lemonberry Mojito

What is it? Plantation rum, soda and simple syrup with muddled mint, lemon and strawberries
Where is it?¬†Lucrezia, now in three locations — Chesterton, Crown Point & Culver

Lucrezia is the perfect spot for a summer cocktail. Hang out out in their garden-like patios with some pasta, a salad, fresh fish and a delicious drink!

Caramel Macchiato Frappé

What is it?  a fresh, frozen coffee drink!

Not every drink needs alcohol. This refreshing summer drink is packed with a punch and perfect for a late afternoon pick me up. Try it in their cute little coffee shop or outside while watching the shoppers at Lighthouse Place.
