Things are looking bright at North Pointe Pavilion in Michigan City.
Sunset Grille will be moving in over Memorial Weekend. Opening day kicks off on Friday, May 25 with concession opening at 11am and the rooftop opening at 4pm. The Grille plans to be open 7 days a week through September. Concession will be open for both lunch and dinner and the rooftop will open up for service in the evenings.
What can you expect? The same great beach views, amazing sunsets and more!
The owners of Patrick’s Grille have taken over the lease for the pavilion and plan to serve an expanded concession menu downstairs and light bites upstairs on the roof (i.e shrimp cocktail, ahi tuna, charcuterie platter). There will be a bar upstairs, with several taps including local and domestic beer, wine and specialty cocktails. Due to the space being rented out on occasion for private events, food and alcohol will be available on both levels.
The popular Steve and Mary E at sunset will continue on Sunday evenings, as well as Thursday night social hours, where you can sample beer, wine and more from different local breweries and wineries each week from 6-8. Be sure to check their facebook page as they plan to start listing all their events very soon! The Save the Dunes Jammin After Party will go on as planned (they will donate $1 from every beer to Save the Dunes) as well as the Brew at the Zoo After Party featuring the Gateway Rugs and a Burn ‘Em Tap Takeover.
Sunset Grille will be family friendly. The concession will sell all sorts of ice cream including a super sundae, cotton candy cup, ice cream bars and more. It will also serve your typical concession fare — burgers, hot dogs, pizza, pretzel bites and lots of other fun beach day treats.
So plan your summer with some sunshine and sunsets, right at Sunset Grille! Be sure to like their facebook page so you can stay up to date on everything they’ve got planned!
