Mac and Cheese Fest is coming back to the dunes and this year it’s heading to the waterfront. On September 29th, Mac & Cheese lovers from around the region will head to 100 Washington Landing, along the harbor in Michigan City for this popular event where they can enjoy lots and lots of samples of mac & cheese from many of the local restaurants & breweries.
The Fest, which is now in it’s third year, currently has 13 restaurants signed on from both NWI and SW Michigan, and they are in talks with a few more. They are partnering with Burn ‘Em Brewing for their beer, but will also offer Miller Lite, a selection of wine, pop and water. The cash bar will be handled by Arcadia on the Lake.
This year, new to the event, are VIP tickets. VIP ticket holders will get admission into the event one hour early, they will have a private seating area on the Arcadia patio, and also receive a fun reusable mac & cheese bowl.

Tickets are $25 each ($50 for VIP) and include samples from every participating vendor. Attendees will also get to vote for their favorite mac and cheese. Awards will be given to the people’s choice, judges choice and most original. Winners receive a plaque and a monetary donation to the charity of their choice.
Entertainment will be provided by Midwest Hype.
