Wildflowers at Warren Woods

This past weekend was our second annual Spring Ephemeral Hike led by Steve Sass. The day was sunny and beautiful and many flowers were in full bloom. We were welcomed by trilliums and spring beauty as we hiked through Warren Woods State Park. Steve talked about many flowers, insects and birds and the highlight was reaching the climax beech-maple forest, shown in the photo above.
