The popular Makers Trail returns to the Duneland area on Saturday, March 8.
What is the Makers Trail? The Makers Trail is a one-day event that will take you to Michigan City and Chesterton, IN, along Dunes Hwy 12 -- to make really cool stuff! Your ticket will include 5 different venues along the trail throughout the day. And there are a couple of bonus venues this year as well.
Where is it? The Makers Trail stops will include Lubeznik Center for the Arts, Over Yonder Dunes Gift Shop, Chesterton Art Center, Pieces of Jayde and Chelle’s Garage. When you purchase your ticket you will pick your starting point. Market on 12 is a bonus venue, so please plan to pay $8 should you choose to do their project. Joe & Freddy's will have live music from 5-8 and specials throughout the day.
What will I make? You will make all sorts of things including hand-drawn cabochons, a moon catcher, and fabric-covered planting pots.
When is it? It’s on Saturday, March 8 from 11-5. Enjoy live music and food & drink specials at Joe & Freddy’s from 5-8pm. Want to spend the night? Al & Sally's is offering an overnight discount at their hotel right in the middle of all the action. Simply use the code Dig the Dunes when booking.
How do I attend? You need to get a ticket in advance! There are only 100 tickets available to avoid crowding. You can purchase your tickets, right here.
