Summer is in full swing, but we are slowly starting to think about September. The crowds start to slip away, the weather cools down a bit, and it's the perfect time to head to South Haven, MI.
Dig the Dunes is excited to take a bus down to this quaint little town on Saturday, September 14 with a few stops along the way! Seats are available now, but the bus is filling up fast. Grab your seat today.
Here is the full itinerary:
9:00 am: Meet at Bartlett's Base Camp and Provisions for coffee or juice and a breakfast sandwich.
9:30 am: Bus leaves and heads to Van Buren State Park.
10:30 am: Arrive Van Buren State Park. Attendees can hike, climb a huge dune, walk the beach or relax at picnic tables. We will be at park for an hour and a half.
12:00 pm: Bus leaves Van Buren State Park and heads to Three Blondes Brewery. Those that want to stop there are welcome to get off bus. (you will be picked up at 1:45). Sherman's Ice cream is also right down the street! Others can stay on bus and will be dropped off at South Beach.
Spend the day shopping, at the beach, dining, wine tasting. We will have a complete guide with all of our favorite things to do in South Haven. Feel like sticking with Dig the Dunes? We will show you around town!
6:45pm: Everyone meet at South Beach for a group photo and sunset! We will watch the sun go down by the pier and then head back.
8pm: Return to base camp after a long, fun filled day with Dig the Dunes!
