Head to Uptown Social in Michigan City (907 Franklin Street) on November 2 and 3 from 10-3 for the second annual Dig the Dunes Artisan Market. Dig the Dunes is teaming up once again with Treasures by the Tide (a mother & daughter duo that creates one of a kind beach glass and driftwood statement pieces) for this event.
This market promises to be a celebration of creativity and craftsmanship, featuring a curated selection of handcrafted goods from local artisans and makers.. Travelin' Toms Coffee Truck will be there along with La Patrona Food Truck. Food will also be available at Royale with Cheese, which is located right next door. Uptown Social will have a full cash bar inside including some fun and creative cocktails, including a bloody mary bar, made special for the market.
Angie Leffler, co-owner of Treasures by the Tide is very excited to be hosting the market once again. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate the creativity that surrounds us, and support the talented individuals in our community.” Angie said, “We are excited to expand the market this year with vendors inside and outside, upstairs and downstairs” A portion of 9th Street will be blocked off allowing mobile boutiques and craftsman with larger tent spaces.
Eve Wierzbicki, the founder of Dig the Dunes added, “This is such a fun kick-off to the holiday season shopping. We are looking forward to chatting with all the uptown businesses in hopes that they will add something special at their shops on those days as well.” Dig the Dunes hopes the market will bring people to the Uptown area of Michigan City to explore not only the market but the restaurants and shops in the area.
Tickets purchased online will get entry into the market both days. (Cost is just $5). They will also be entered into a raffle. Winners need not be present.
