Ghost Isle Brewery opens it’s doors just in time for warmer weather!

Photos and story submitted by: Christiana Howton

A new brewery just opened in New Buffalo, Michigan and it’s giving us goosebumps!

Ghost Isle Brewery, located at 17684 U.S. 12, overlooks the Ghost Island/Galien River Wetlands, making it the perfect spot to sip on a brew and watch the sunset all year round!

The Dig the Dunes team had the pleasure of venturing out just days after Ghost Isle Brewery decided to secretly open it’s doors to the public (a week earlier than their scheduled grand opening). Let me tell you, we all left excited about the future of this new addition to New Buffalo.

Ghost Isle Brewery has a large bar, tables and beautiful patio with a fire pit.

Ghost Isle Brewery is a family friendly brewery that offers indoor seating either at a table-top or at their bar, which is located at the center of the brewery. In addition to indoor seating there is also a partially covered patio which is divided by glass retractable doors giving the brewery an open-air concept, perfect for the summer months.

Ghost Isle Brewery is a place for all as they offer a large menu including baby back ribs, burgers, clams and much more! There are a variety of beverages from beer, to wine, cider and cocktails.

You can try a 4 sample flight, 5 oz pour taste test or a full pint of any of their house beers

If you are looking to venture out, we hope you find your way to Ghost Isle Brewery to enjoy this new spot. What a great addition to the dunes area…just in time for the warmer months!
