On Saturday, October 12, Dig the Dunes will hold their "Discover Duneland" Scavenger Hunt in partnership with Indiana Dunes Tourism. The hunt is a mixture of clues, puzzles and challenges with an Amazing Race feel. Participants will start at the Indiana Dunes Visitor's Center and follow a series of clues to reach their final secret destination where live music, food, drinks and prizes will be waiting. The hunt will be both by foot and by car and will be limited in size. Teams of 2 will compete (kids 12 and under are welcome to join their parents for free). Your ticket will include snacks at registration and a glass of wine or soda at finish. There will be up to $400 in prizes. Check out tickets and all the info right here.
Ready to get out before October? Consider joining Dig the Dunes on a trip to South Haven, Michigan on Saturday, September 14. Hop on the bus at Michigan City's Base Camp Marina Café. First stop will be Van Buren State Park, followed by lunch at Three Blondes Brewery and then a day of discovering South Haven, MI, complete with a wine tasting and a beautiful sunset. Just two weeks after that is Mac & Cheese Fest outside of Zorn Brewery and Barrelhouse The Venue. Sunday, September 29 will bring up to 15 Mac & Cheese vendors, live music, artisan shopping and a whole lot of fun.
