Popular Comedy Show Moves To The Acorn Theater in Three Oaks.
Waves of Laughter, the popular stand up comedy show produced by Dig the Dunes and Colleen Brennan, is heading to Three Oaks next week.
The show, which is now in it’s fourth year, decided to try something new and partnered up with the Acorn Theater. The new partnership allowed them to move away from the boat race weekend in Michigan City as well as have the show on a Saturday, making it easier to get top notch comedians. They also love the venue and feel it will give the show a nice spin..
The show will take place on Saturday, August 10 this year at 8:00 EST. The line up includes:
Colleen Brennan. Colleen will be your host and comedian. Colleen Brennan is a Chicago based stand-up comedian, writer, producer (Waves of Laughter, Momedians of Momedy, Back Room Comedy and Living Room Sessions @ aliveOne), mother, wife and pediatric speech language pathologist. A graduate of the Conservatory Program at The Second City, Colleen also received training in stand-up comedy at The Second City and Feminine Comique. Described as a polished performer, Colleen’s unique, observational angle as a married, visibly stable mother highlights the hilarious details about life as a human.
