Matey’s Luau to raise money for Save the Dunes

August 31, 2018

Looking for something fun to do where you can help a great cause at the same time? Head to the deck at Matey’s in Michigan City on Sunday, September 9 for a luau! Matey’s will donate $5 of every ticket for the luau to Save the Dunes, as well as $1 from every drink from 1-4pm.

The luau is going to be a great way to keep the summer vibes going. INDIKA out of Chicago will be playing some reggae, there will be a full Hawaiian buffet (pork sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit), cocktails, a limbo contest, raffle and beer tasting table. Your ticket includes a welcome drink (Blue Hawaiian) the full buffet and beer tasting table. Look for some great raffle prizes too!

The event is family friendly and will be held on the smoke free deck of Matey’s. So soak in some end of summer sun and dance on the deck next Sunday…for Save the Dunes!

Space is limited, so think ahead. Price will go up $5 at the door. You can purchase your tickets right here.

Established in 1952, the mission of Save the Dunes is to preserve, protect and restore the Indiana dunes and all natural resources in Northwest Indiana’s Lake Michigan Watershed for an enhanced quality of life.
