Dig the Dunes Trail Stop, located inside the Indiana Dunes National Park at 1000 Riverwalk Drive in Portage, plans to kick off the summer this Friday, May 28, with live music, beer & wine tastings and their full food & drink menu.
The waterfront venue is the only location along the shores of the National Park where you can enjoy beer, wine, a light bite, or a full meal, all while watching the waves and a beautiful sunset.
Trail Stop sources many of their menu items locally, including freshly baked pretzels (Arturos bakery, Michigan City), hand made ice cream (Valpo Velvet, Valparaiso), Pizzas (JJ’s, Lake Station) and craft brews (18th Street, Burn Em, Round Barn & more!)
This Friday, due to the colder temps, they plan to open their “room with a view”, a private party room with floor to ceiling windows. Ryan Staniszeski will play acoustic tunes from 5-8pm and Round Barn Brewery & Winery will have samples of their wine cocktails.
Throughout the summer, Trail Stop will be open Monday from 12-4pm, Wednesday & Thursday 3pm-sunset, Friday-Sunday 12pm-sunset and closed Tuesdays. There will be music on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
