Bootleggin’ returns to Barker Mansion on January 25th.
It’s the ’20’s again! That means it’s time to dress up and head out to one of the best parties around town.
Dig the Dunes is thrilled to team up with Barker Mansion in Michigan City once again for their second “Bootleggin’ at Barker Mansion”. This year they’ve added a little twist. They’ve rounded up the area’s best mixologists, and guests will be able to vote for their favorite cocktail. At the end of each “tour” a winner will be announced.
Ticket orders are pouring in (just like the crowds shown here), so don’t wait too long to purchase yours. Due to demand, there are (2) two hour tours, 5:00 and 8:00. Each self-guided tour is 2 hours long. During that time, guests are able to wander throughout the rooms of the mansion tasting four period cocktails created by the area’s best mixologists. Members from Vintage Postcard will be playing on the main level where you will also find a delicious spread of food and a full cash bar provided by McGinnis Pub.
Competitors include: David Hoch from Leeds Public House, Abby Voss from the False Front, Vestina Keiser from Brewery Lodge and Justin Post from McGinnis Pub.
Guests are invited to dress up in period style, but it is not necessary. Casual attire is also welcome.
Dig the Dunes will be donating a portion of the proceeds back to the mansion for a Children’s Sleepover.
Please do not drink and drive.
