Every year the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore chooses several artists for their Artist in Residence program. The program offers artists the opportunity to live in the park for two weeks to create art that helps generate appreciation and support for the national lakeshore. The artist provides a public program and donates a piece of art created during their stay. The work created by the artists becomes a permanent part of the park’s collection. Who wouldn’t enjoy a two week vacation in the Indiana Dunes? Interested? Please note that applications must be postmarked by January 15 and received by January 30

What is the Artist in Residence Program?
The Artist-in-Residence (AIR) program at Indiana Dunes offers professional artists the opportunity to live in the park for two weeks to create art that helps generate appreciation and support for the national lakeshore.
