Dig the Dunes sat down with Randi Light, the dunes area premiere hypnotherapist. Randi has been sharing her skills with others in a new hypnosis class. Find out if you are a candidate and what you can learn from her!
How long have you been a hypnotherapist?
I have been a hypnotherapist for about 10 years. Actually, I was the first student in the state for about 10 years to get certified. I had to do 500 classroom hours. If you want to become a Certified Hypnotherapist with me and the International Hypnosis Federation, you technically only have to do about 150 hours
What are the benefits of being a hypnotherapist?
The benefits of being a hypnotherapist are many. It’s a change agent. I have been involved in the healing arts for over 30 years which means I have spent thousands of dollars and thousands of hours getting trained in healing techniques. What I discovered in my journey, is hypnosis is the fastest and most effective way to get results. Incorporating hypnosis with other types of healing including Massage, Reiki, Yoga, Access Bars, Nutrition, Qi Gong, and Theta Healing can enhance the benefits.
If you are in the healing business, incorporating hypnosis into your practice increases your revenue stream and improves your clients’ quality of life. Plus, Hypnotherapy is recognized as a distinct profession. Clients pay $100 to $1000 / hour and sometimes more to overcome blocks. I personally have over a 90% success rate with Pain Relief, Insomnia, Anxiety, Depression and Peak Performance.
Tell us a little bit about the special hypnotherapy certification event being held in September.
The class provides a foundation for understanding hypnosis and NLP – Neuro-linguistic Programming. Both are modalities that work directly with the subconscious mind, which is where deep and lasting change must take place. You also learn about the conscious, subconscious and superconscious mind. The bottom line is you will leave the program with the confidence to hypnotize people.
***The first 3 people to register get a private session with me.***
When you learn about the power of suggestion, the power of your mind and how to program and reprogram it, you can help yourself, loved ones, friends and more without even hypnotizing them.
Who would you recommend takes this class?
Anyone who loves to help people with major transformation and get rapid results. It’s also for people and healers wanting to increase revenue streams.
Would you take the class simply for yourself or so that you can become a hypnotherapist and help your own clients?
Both. If you are fascinated with the subject and want to learn how to hypnotize yourself, this class is a great place to begin the journey. I was a massage therapist for about 10 years but my hands began having issues so I knew I wanted to continue helping people overcome pain but I needed a way to do it without hurting my body. Hypnotherapy was the answer. At the time I had no idea, that people with pain including migraines and fibromyalgia could get relief. Most people know of the benefits of hypnosis for Weight Loss and Smoking but Hypnotherapy is a great tool for overcoming PTSD, stress and fears.
What sort of success have past classes had?
I encourage all my students to specialize in a particular area. 2 of my students opened a practice together and are getting wonderful results. Another student landed a job in the social work arena where she will be able to use her skills and teach others the benefits.
