Living and Creating in the Dunes

February 8 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join Lubeznik Center for the Arts and Save the Dunes as they teach about our area’s native plant species and how you can preserve this unique landscape.

Save the Dunes Program Coordinator, Nathaneal Pilla, presents resources to encourage native plant species and avoid invasive species in your landscaping and/or gardens. The result will protect the unique environment of the dunes.

Afterward, artist and designer, Melissa Washburn, discusses a trio of beautiful prints she created while at the Calumet Artist Residency to honor our native environment’s plants and pollinators. Prints are for sale and proceeds benefit both Save the Dunes & Lubeznik Center for the Arts. Melissa will be available to sign prints.

Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public, and LCA is accessible.
